These Terms apply to everyone who engages with First Faces Models ("we", "us", "the Company"), including any parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of a child or dependent ("Model").
By accepting an offer of representation, creating a profile, paying an administration fee, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, interpreted alongside the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 and other applicable international laws where relevant.
Assignment — any project, campaign, audition, casting, promotional activity, modelling engagement, advertising campaign, entertainment production, e-commerce shoot, editorial feature, social media campaign, PR activity or related media work arranged or facilitated by us.
Client — any brand, agency, production company, photographer, casting director or organisation considering, booking or reviewing a Model through us.
Company — First Faces Models, including its affiliates, subsidiaries, websites, applications and associated trading names.
Model — the individual represented by us, including any parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of a child.
Offer of Representation — a formal invitation from us for a Model to join the platform and our representation services.
Online Platform — our digital profile and casting platform used to display portfolios and manage submissions.
Representation — the promotional, administrative, marketing, profile hosting, casting submission and talent management services we provide.
Term — the agreed duration of representation, typically one, two or three years.
Territory — any country or region in which we operate or promote talent, including but not limited to the United Kingdom, Europe, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Australia, India, Japan and China.
2.1 We operate as an employment agency and talent representation platform in line with applicable UK legislation and equivalent international standards.
2.2 Once representation is accepted, we act as a non-exclusive representative of the Model.
2.3 A Model is free to register with other agencies or platforms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.4 We provide profile hosting, casting visibility, promotional exposure, administrative support and eligibility for consideration for assignments.
2.5 We do not guarantee castings, auditions, shortlist selections, work opportunities, earnings, client contact, any particular frequency of submissions, or employment of any kind.
2.6 Every booking, casting and shortlist decision is made solely by Clients and sits entirely outside our control.
2.7 We are not obliged to submit every Model for every opportunity, and may judge suitability at our sole discretion based on client requirements, location, age, appearance, availability, image quality, experience, licensing considerations or other commercial factors.
2.8 Nothing said in a verbal discussion, onboarding call, marketing material, example of past work, or informal guidance amounts to a contractual guarantee or promise of future work.
3.1 Any registration or representation fee paid to us is an administration and platform access fee, covering profile creation, hosting, maintenance, client visibility, administrative processing, marketing and promotional activity.
3.2 This fee is not a payment for guaranteed employment, castings, assignments or earnings, and we do not guarantee that suitable opportunities will arise during the Term.
3.3 Opportunities in the modelling and entertainment industry are highly competitive and depend on factors including market demand, seasonal trends, client preferences, demographics, location, availability and current campaign requirements.
3.4 We do not offer refunds on the basis of a lack of castings, bookings, unsuccessful applications or shortlist selections, market conditions, or client decisions.
3.5 We may, at our sole discretion, extend a representation term where we consider it appropriate.
4.1 Provide accurate, truthful and up-to-date information at all times.
4.2 Maintain high-quality, recent portfolio images in line with our guidelines.
4.3 Promptly tell us about any change to appearance, measurements, contact details, availability, location, or eligibility to work.
4.4 Behave professionally and respectfully during all assignments, castings, communications and interactions.
4.5 Parents and guardians remain fully responsible for supervising their child at all times.
4.6 Do not misrepresent us, our services, or our relationships with Clients.
4.7 Comply with all applicable child performance licensing, safeguarding, welfare and legal requirements.
5.1 We'll use reasonable commercial effort to promote suitable Models through our platform, marketing activity, direct submissions and client outreach.
5.2 This may include promotion via our website, social media, digital advertising, casting databases, email campaigns, client submissions and partner networks.
5.3 We retain full discretion over how, when and where Models are promoted.
5.4 We'll take reasonable steps to comply with applicable data protection and safeguarding law.
6.1 We're authorised to negotiate and collect payment from Clients on behalf of the Model.
6.2 Payment is typically processed once cleared funds are received from the Client.
6.3 We can't guarantee payment timelines where a delay is caused by the Client or another third party.
7.1 By submitting images, names, likenesses, videos and related material, the Model grants us the right to use them for promotional, marketing, editorial and commercial purposes connected with our services.
7.2 You confirm you hold all necessary permissions and parental consents relating to anything you submit.
7.3 We reserve the right to remove, reject or edit portfolio content we consider unsuitable, low quality, misleading, offensive or commercially inappropriate.
8.1 You agree to receive communications from us by email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone, social media or other electronic means where applicable.
8.2 We can't guarantee response times or ongoing individual feedback on unsuccessful submissions.
8.3 Clients frequently don't provide feedback on unsuccessful applications, shortlists or castings, and we have no control over that.
9.1 We'd always rather resolve a concern or dispute directly before it's posted publicly.
9.2 You agree not to publish statements about us, our staff, Clients or representatives that you know to be false, misleading, defamatory or malicious.
9.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account where conduct is abusive, threatening, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate.
9.4 We rely on close working relationships with brands, casting professionals, production companies, photographers and commercial partners. A damaging public review, social media post or online statement made during an active representation term can materially harm those relationships. Where we reasonably believe a public statement has damaged or risks damaging our reputation, operations or client relationships, we reserve the right to immediately terminate representation and deactivate the associated account without refund.
9.5 Castings shown on the homepage, become a model page, about us page and country pages are for illustration purposes only. Sign in to your account to view live castings in your region.
9.6 Following termination under this section, the Model's profile, portfolio visibility, submissions and representation services may be removed from the platform immediately.
9.7 Any request to rejoin following termination under this section is entirely at our discretion, and may require a new application and payment of any applicable fees.
10.1 You're entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period in line with applicable consumer law, provided no promotional or representation services have yet started.
10.2 Once profile creation, promotion, marketing or representation services have begun, a deduction may apply to reflect services already delivered.
10.3 We may terminate representation immediately if these Terms are breached.
10.4 You may end representation by giving us written notice.
10.5 We retain the right to commission on assignments secured during an active Term, including payments received after termination.
11.1 Optional portfolio or test shoots may be offered independently of representation.
11.2 Taking part in a portfolio shoot doesn't guarantee representation, castings or work.
11.3 Parents and guardians remain responsible for their child throughout any shoot or studio session.
11.4 Except where legally required, we're not responsible for third-party photographers, studios or suppliers.
We aim to operate in line with applicable international laws and standards, including but not limited to:
13.1 We're not liable for a lack of castings or bookings, client decisions, market demand, loss of opportunity, indirect financial loss, reputational loss, or disappointment relating to how things turn out in the industry.
13.2 Our total liability will not exceed the total administration fees you paid during the active Term, except where the law doesn't allow that limit.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, liability or cost arising from inaccurate information you've provided, a breach of these Terms, or misuse of the platform.
We're not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power or internet outages, industrial action, or changes in law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
If we don't act on a breach of these Terms straight away, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to act on it, or any later breach.
We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example as part of a restructure or sale of the business. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.
These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and us regarding representation, and supersede any prior discussion, understanding or informal arrangement on the same subject.
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Where mandatory local law in your country of residence provides additional consumer protections, those may also apply.
